Meet Selina
Compassionate Occupational Therapist and Manual Therapy Specialist Empowering Clients Through Hands-On Healing and Holistic Care
I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Iowa, one of seven children. My solid foundation has made me an empathetic and grounded person dedicated to enhancing the lives of those in my care.
I love the outdoors including hiking and traveling, and believe in the power of connection and understanding the therapeutic process. My goal isn't only to restore function but to promote resilience and independence by encouraging clients to engage in their healing journey.
I also enjoy staying active through daily walks, Pilates, yoga, and strength training. I have endured my share of injuries and recovered and therefore have developed a deep appreciation for the unique challenges faced by each client.
I am committed to lifelong learning and continuously improving my skills to provide the best possible care. I received a master's in occupational therapy from UT Health Science Center in Memphis and have practiced Massage Therapy for over 25 years after completing training at TN School of Massage.
I am an intermediate level John Barnes Myofascial Release Therapist and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. I am also trained in Trigger Point Therapy, Kinesio taping and cupping.
I work as a Lymphedema Specialist at The Methodist Cancer Institute in addition to the owner/operator at
Restore Therapy Studio.
